Our client Ford Civil undertook remediation of contaminated land for the RMS at Woolooware Bay Oyster Farm. The existing seawall on the eastern side had collapsed; our solution was a Combi wall utilising PVC sheet pile and circular steel tube piles designed by Australian Ports and Marinas. This resulted in an economical boost for the former oyster farm owners in this area as well added protection to the local flora and fauna.
Our partner was faced with a U$20mil solution specified by their government client, we provided a solution reducing the costs by half while also providing significantly greater environmental outcomes as a result of utilising synthetic sheet piles from CMI in the USA, backed by Australian engineering consultancy services.
Our partner designs and supplies galvanised steel boat racking systems and structures, we provide the expertise for them to achieve cost savings by performing various aspects of international procurement, (purchasing, quality, finance, FX, insurance, customs and handling). Project sizes contributing to the company’s growth have varied from as little as 15 tonnes of steel.
